Ukhozi volume
UKHOZI FM VOLUME is summer campaign. The campaign seeks to utilize the euphoria of the festive season to urge the youth to exercising personal responsibility while they entertaining themselves with all the festivities of this period. The objective is to lay the foundation for a sustain campaign aimed encouraging and promoting a positive lifestyle.
We have the right to choose. This can apply to every area of our life. Everyday we have choices to make from "what will I wear today?" to "will I ask her to marry me?" Sometimes the choices are fun to make, yet at other times they can be difficult, the sort of choices that we agonize over because we know that whatever we do it will hurt.. But make them we must and make them we do. This right to choose is a form of empowerment that gives us our responsibility as independent beings and we should feel that we can give thanks for this right. It's great to have. As we have the right to choose, we also need to have the confidence to choose wisely.
That is what Ukhozi Volume is all about we help the youth understand the difference between today, tomorrow and yesterday. We give these three pretty words meaning. Yesterday is gone that is why it is called history have no regrets, tomorrow is a mystery because no one knows what tomorrow holds and today is a gift which not all of us get to see.
The word “volume” signifies a number of aspects that are critical to the campaign. Firstly, it has an immediate association with the business of radio broadcasting and consequently the product and sound of Ukhozi FM. This would make the campaign instantly recognizable and easily associated with the Ukhozi FM brand.
Secondly, the phrase “ukunyusa ivolume (turning up the volume)” denotes the objective of raising the bar and putting more effort in how the youth should tackle the social challenges that they face while working towards their future. It is also a call to action that can be internalized and assimilated into the everyday lifestyle.
