Zama Ngcobo is a 29 year old female who is an entrepreneur of note. She has enjoyed a career as a radio and television personality. She was a Brand Ambassador (Continuity Presenter) for the biggest television channel in Africa SABC 1 as well as a radio host for the second biggest radio station, Ukhozi FM. She is also an actress on Generations, SABC 1’s platinum show,with her famous role as Thabitha. All three entities hold millions of listeners/viewers each. This year she will be involved in a Theatre Production that will be seen all across the country in three Provinces: KZN, North West and Gauteng. Her biggest accomplishment yet is her new role as Executive Producer for her own show to debut this year 2013 with SABC 1 under her company Pholoba Communications. She is also to be an ambassador for a beauty house to be announced soon.

Her achievements include invitations as:

She has been involved in community work with public schools. She’s held motivational talks in schools to motivate young kids in rural areas. She is also Founder and Managing Director of a successful company Pholoba Communications which its principal services include communication strategies, events management and Public Relations.

She holds a high public profile in the Entertainment Industry. A regular MC at some of the high profile events. She has also featured in South Africa’s most popular magazine covers and social pages. In 2009 she was voted GQ Magazines Best Dressed Female and features prominently on the social/fashion pages for her style sense. In 2011, she was chosen to be one of the faces for the Vaseline Intensive Care Campaign.

She has been a guest presenter at some of South Africa’s biggest awards ceremonies which includes the SATMA’s 2011, SAMA Awards 2007, The Metro FM Awards 2006 and being invited to some of the highest calendar events in the entertainment industry such as, Miss South Africa, The J&B Met (Cape Town), The Durban July, The Joburg Fashion Week, The State Of The Nation Address (Cape Town) and many more.

Education is another important venture she has decided to pursue in order to advance her entrepreneurial ambitions as she is an aspiring businesswoman. She has two qualifications with Wits Business School:

A certificate in New Venture Creation For Entrepreneurs and a Management qualification in MAP (Management Advancement Programme). She also holds a certificate in Somatology (Beauty Therapy) from the University of Johannesburg,
