Competion Rules

  • Eligibility: • The competition is open to solo artists, bands, and music producers. • Entrants must be 18 years or older. • Songs must be original and/or legally sampled by entrants. • Songs must be officially playlisted on Ukhozi FM. • Songs must have been released between 1 January 2024 and 31 October 2024.
 
  • Judging Criteria: • Songs must be playlisted on Ukhozi FM. • Songs must appear in all three of the following lists: 1. Listener nomination list. 2. Presenter/Staff nomination list. 3. Dira Playout
 
  • Competition Guidelines: • Songs that have not been playlisted on Ukhozi FM will not be eligible. • No explicit language or inappropriate content. • Entrants will retain full ownership and rights to their songs. • Winners will be announced publicly.
