Hailing from Newcastle, Blaauboch, Sibusiso Mkhaba Madonsela holds a Diploma in Journalism from Damelin.
He joined radio in 2013 as a sports presenter at Zululand FM 97.0 until 2014, in 2016 he joined Inanda FM until the year 2019. A passionate sports presenter who won Best Sports Presenter in 2013 while still with Zululand FM, Mkhaba was also nominated for Best Sports Presenter and Best Sports Show in the SA Radio Awards in 2019 while still with Inanda 88.4FM.
Growing up he knew he would be a radio personality one day, he looked up to the likes of Joe Hudla “I was staying with my grandmother and I remember us watching the football on TV and tune in to Ukhozi FM just to listen to Bra Joe’s commentary” says Madonsela.
In 2021, his dream has finally come true, he joined Africa’s biggest radio station, Ukhozi FM as a sports anchor and says life has never been the same eversince. In this short period of time Mkhaba has learned and got introduced to a lot of opportunities within the industry which include being the MC at the MTN 2023 Final Breakfast hosted by Development of Economic Development Tourism and Environmental Affairs MEC Siboniso Duma.
As he continues to grow within the station and the radio industry, Sibusiso says he wants to always make sure that he excels and delivers what is required.
