“A Lawyer by profession and a Broadcaster by passion” is a line Boniswa associates with summing up her dual career trajectory. Born and bred in Bomvini – a small village in UMzimkhulu, South KZN, Boniswa is passionate about making the best of the opportunities she gets her hands on. Whether it’s through her burgeoning corporate career or with her close to 10 years radio experience, she embodies brilliance and an insatiable desire to be a thought leader, commanding influence amongst her peers and beyond.
Sourced out by Ukhozi FM from a Durban based community radio station – Inanda FM in 2015, Boniswa began her radio career in 2013. While still with Inanda FM she scooped an award for Best Female Presenter at the 2015 Intandoyesizwe Radio Awards and has never looked back.
Currently, Boniswa anchors the station’s two flagship youth talk shows which enable her to champion pertinent conversations for Youth Empowerment on and off air. With a global oriented vision, Boniswa is also a certified Professional Public Speaker affiliated with Toastmasters International and has delivered a number of award winning speeches to audiences of different demographics.
