After matriculating from Ohlange High School, she pursued a career in nursing, obtaining a diploma in General Nursing, Midwifery, and Community Health Nursing. Under the pseudonym “Sister Midred,” she reached wide audiences through magazine columns, newspaper articles, and radio discussions on family planning, primarily on Radio Zulu, which is now Ukhozi FM.
Dudu’s breakthrough came when Mr. Hawu Mbatha, the former station manager at Ukhozi FM, recognized her natural ability to connect with listeners.
